Partnerships with music educators like you are an essential part of our ability to accomplish our mission of empowering and inspiring young people through the joy of singing. During our 2021-2022 season, nearly 50% of our singers joined our programs because a school music teacher recommended PYC. There are many ways for you to partner with PYC so that we can serve more singers in our region.
Partnership Opportunities
Book a school visit.
The PYC artistic team is eager to visit your school choir or general music class. During these visits, we hear your students sing, encourage them to continue singing in your school choral programs, and share PYC choral opportunities.
Share marketing materials.

Join our Teacher Advisory Committee.
The Teacher Advisory Committee is comprised of individuals who are currently working in the field of music education throughout the Pittsburgh region’s public and parochial schools and in higher education. The Committee serves in an advisory capacity to the artistic staff and Board, providing guidance, information, and assistance to enable PYC to strategically enhance its regional growth and outreach as well as its regional, state, and national recognition.
